Kerala Honeymoon IdeasRomantic Honeymoons in KeralaKerala is India's most popular honeymoon destination for good reason. The combination of the cool romantic tea plantations around Munnar, the slow-moving backwaters and the long beaches makes Kerala the perfect place to enjoy the first weeks of married life. We can provide Kerala honeymoon package tours to suit every need and budget. The best place to start with your honeymoon planning is to peruse our Kerala Honeymoon packages and tours before you make an enquiry. These are example honeymoons to whet your appetite. We also make up bespoke honeymoon tours for you based on your interests and your budget. We can create anything from a 5 star deluxe package through to something a little more budget (aka cheap). If you have set a budget then call or contact us with your budget requirements and we will create a honeymoon for you. Our job is make sure that your first weeks of married life include memories that you can cherish for ever. Kerala Houseboat CruisesEnjoy a cruise at leisure in the Kerala backwaters on our traditional houseboat or 'Kettuvallom', to carry you through the narrow waterways and villages into Vembanad Lake and the magnificent Kerala backwaters. We have a fleet of houseboats with family sized Two, Three or Four bedroom houseboats and intimate single bedroom houseboats. They range from standard with or without air conditioning to the luxury boats. Of the many hundreds of boats now on the backwaters only a handful or tow are luxury in our opinion. Prices include meals and cost of fuel. You will have a captain, oars man and the cook on the boat. We can arrange anything from an overnight stay - to a whole week of cruising through the backwaters. An overnight cruise starts at 12:00 hrs with lunch on Day 1 and ends by 09:30 hrs after breakfast on Day 2. Find out more about our Kerala Houseboats. Also find houseboats listed by Kerala Houseboat size, bydeparture point and by duration of voyage. You will find all our houseboats in our Kerala houseboat guide What is special about Karma KeralaOkay, so there are an awful lot of travel agencies working through Kerala, arranging hotels in kerala and the rest. Often people mistake looking for Kerala Hotels by putting Kerela Hotels so we added a link just incase!! Kerala HotelsWe have a long list of Kerala hotels broken down by areas as well as a few highlights:
We have categorised the hotels by location, by type and by quality. Where we can we stated our own opinions of accommodation and service. We have excluded properties that either refuse to work with us or for whom we get bad reviews (Lagoona Davina fit both of these). We have one of the most exhaustive lists of Kerala hotels, homestays and accommodation so I am sure we can help you in some way. When to visit for your Kerala HolidayAny time is Kerala time, but for most Western visitors, the winter offers the most welcoming climate and it is the driest time. March and April are hot and tropical before the South-west monsoon breaks over Kerala and the rainy season starts, which is the ideal Ayurveda time! So, its Winter for touring holidays and post summer monsoons for rejuvenating your body and spirit. Do refer to our planning guide for more advice on making your visit |
